The Haddonfield Friends of the Library, through memberships and our annual book sale, provides special gifts that contribute to the excellence of library services. These gifts are a supplement to, not a substitute for, the library's regular operating budget. Some of the many gifts given by the Friends include books and other library materials, furnishings, audio-visual supplies and equipment.
In June 2013, The Haddonfield Friends of the Library was honored with the 2013 New Jersey Library Association (NJLA) Library Service Award for its continuing support and financial donations to the Haddonfield Public Library.Pictured from Left to right are Rich Cunliffe, Susan Briant (Library Director), Phil Shapiro (President), Kristin Redmond, Susan Reed (Vice President) accepting the award at the Revel Casino in Atlantic City.
Haddonfield Friends of the Library is a group of passionate, like-minded volunteers who donate their time, energy and talent to sustain a vibrant and diverse free public library in our town.
Our mission is to enhance our library by raising funds through membership dues and fund raising for critical programs and services for all ages, to underwrite educational and cultural events and to advocate for a state-of-the-art, collaborative, life-long learning environment.
